Self-Service Web Portal

GEMP designed their Web portal to be very simple because customers say that they will only use self-service tools that are easy to use. Customers are not required to login in order to search. However, if you would like to protect the Web portal with a username and password that is possible as well. GEMP uses a login version of this same knowledge tool for their support people.

Carol goes to the GEMP Web site because she has a question about ordering case study documentation for her diagnostic machines. First, she checks for common customer questions by clicking on "Customer FAQ/Most Frequently Used" in the self-service Web portal below.
