Inputting Proactive Knowledge – Method #2

Manual entry – A knowledge user or customer can propose knowledge manually into Giva eKnowledgeManager via the user interface. This knowledge must also be placed through a rigorous validation process, except with respect to "Hot Knowledge". If knowledge is designated as "Hot Knowledge", it will immediately become available to all personnel. Although "Hot Knowledge" is subject to the approval process, it can be quickly made available in order to help with urgent issues.

From the Home Page you can propose knowledge by clicking on the "Propose New Knowledge" hyperlink. Select a Title, Category, Key Words, add the Knowledge Text, and Add Attachments, if appropriate. The Spelling and Grammar checking tool can also help with the accuracy of your entry.
