Inputting Proactive Knowledge – Method #1

Proactive knowledge is developed before it is needed. For example, before a new software release is launched a company may have a number of known problems and solutions that they want to share with the Help Desk or Customer Support. The Quality Assurance organization authors this knowledge and then places it through a validation process before it is available to all support personnel.

There are three methods that can be used to import knowledge into Giva eKnowledgeManager.

Method #1

Microsoft® Excel Spreadsheet – The Knowledge Manager can give Giva an excel spreadsheet in the format that Giva specifies and we then import it into Giva eKnowledgeManager within 24 hours. There is an option to exempt this knowledge from the normal approval process since it has been obtained from Subject Matter Experts.
