Attaching Files to Service Requests – Converting to PDFs

You can attach as many files as you like to service requests. If you require, any files can be converted to Adobe® PDF files on the fly. Converting a file to a PDF format assures that the fonts, page breaks, and formatting will be consistent between the original file and the attached file copy when viewed on another PC.

Giva eServiceDesk makes this task easy and can convert over 300 different file types into PDF files. Simply check the "Convert to PDF" box. The Adobe Acrobat Reader window opens with the document you wish to convert. An approval button appears to acknowledge your approval. Next, the window refreshes to include the newly created PDF file.
