In less than 30 seconds, Betty can enter her service request description, select a nature of request and a severity level and click the submit button. The 30 seconds that it takes for Betty to complete the request is much less time than it would take to call Facilities and find a person at their desk to discuss her request. Facilities personnel can be out doing their work and will receive electronic notifications of new requests to their cell phones and pagers. Alternatively, they can check on new requests from any desktop computer.
