Self Service Web Portal

Giva eKnowledgeManager has two, self-service Web portal solutions for customers to search knowledge bases. One solution does not require a login. You can use this when the knowledge you want your customers to access is of a public nature. The second solution requires a login. You can use this solution when your knowledge is confidential and you want to control access to it.

Public Website Portal Access (no login required)

The true power of any knowledge tool is realized when your customers use it for self-service. Since you may not want the overhead of maintaining profiles and passwords for all of your customers just for knowledge use, Giva has a no login access solution for your customers. Giva Public Website Portal Access does not require your customers to enter a user ID and password.

Giva provides you with a small amount of software code for you to place on your Web site. Using our style sheet, you can add colors, company logo, change, or add words and personalize the knowledge management interface to fit your company identity. This software code is placed on your Internet or intranet site, but it points to the Giva application. The result is that your customers will have an experience that is consistent with your Web site. They will not know that they have been redirected to the Giva application.
