The MetroHealth System Launches New Giva HR Employee Interface

On Monday, August 19th, Giva customer, The MetroHealth System, launched a new internal Human Resources (HR) service using Giva's HIPAA compliant SaaS Customer Self-Service Portal. The MetroHealth System has for the past five years already been utilizing Giva's Service Management Suiteā„¢ in the cloud for their IT Service Desk and a number of other departments such as Facilities and Environmental Services. They are now pleased to be expanding their services by offering Giva's Customer Self-Service Portal to their employees in an effort to offer streamlined HR services.

This new service ensures a quick, easy and seamless experience for MetroHealth's 7,500 employees at 20 different locations. Instead of placing the burden on employees of knowing who to contact for what; employees simply log in to the Giva Portal and search a knowledge base and, if needed, create a service request. Giva does the rest by quickly generating a service request and intelligently routing it directly to the appropriate team for a streamlined response and resolution.

The portal also includes a library of forms and documents so employees can self-help and learn exactly what forms to complete. They get guided through an easy and intuitive experience, so they can quickly complete forms and get back to serving the needs of their patients.

Giva provides standardized tracking from the moment a request is generated through resolution. "We will be able to monitor and measure the types of requests we receive and ensure employees receive answers to their questions quickly and efficiently" said Shelley Belak, Manager, MetroHealth HR Shared Services.

MetroHealth has plans to expand the use of Giva into other areas of their HR department, including Talent Acquisition, HRIS, Talent Management, and Culture and Organizational Effectiveness.
